Gran Circo Carnavalito
The goal for developing this game was to create a lively and fun first-person shooter. One of the proposed themes was to create limited gameplay and then create an entire environment based on the main mechanic. Having decided that the game would be a shooter and should have a setting and environment that complemented the shooting action, the decision was to create a shooter to eliminate objects with the player standing in a static position. Several examples came to light: Duck Hunt, Balloon Darts, Hoops and Bottles, all fairground games that would resemble the general objective of what I was proposing. Finally, the clown-knocking game was chosen. The initial idea was to create a fairground booth with clowns and be able to knock them down with a shot. With the activity planned, various decorative elements typical of a circus experience were added. The game was expanded, and movement was added for the player. Thus, a circus game was created in which the player would be surrounded by carnival tents with clowns on their stands, and the objective would be to knock them all down. With a limited playing time of just 45 seconds, the objective was to score as many points as possible. Each clown has a score of either 10, 50, or 100 points. Can you spot the Clown that's worth more Points?
